Requirements
Age Requirement: 14 years or older Eligibility: Must be a current member of a Surf Life Saving club (that’s us at Waitārere Beach) Course Duration: Typically 2–8 weeks, depending on skill level and training structure Delivered By: Qualified Surf Life Saving club instructors, with assessment by local examiners Who It’s For: Anyone keen to begin their journey as a Surf Lifeguard Candidate Requirements: Successfully complete all practical components, theory assessments, and required tests
